After working years beyond the normal age for retirement, Barry "the Oracle" Davies has decided at the end of September, to hang up his ‘Telephone and Test Plans’ and head for the hills of Accrington for a bit of relaxation.
Barry began working with Darwen Diesels way back in May 1991. First on Van Sales for 9 years covering the whole country and later in Technical Sales and Parts Information.
His knowledge, humour and dedication to the diesel trade will be sorely missed. We feel sure you will join us in wishing Barry a very happy, long and well deserved retirement.
Barry "the Oracle" Davies retired 1st October 2010, not only be missed by you the customer but by all his work collegues.
A source in the company says " Barry's wife aint too pleased that he is at home all the time and is activly seeking work"
