Bryce Diesel Fuel Injection Spare Parts
Bryce are part of our vintage range of diesel fuel injection spare parts.
The brand Bryce Began in 1941 as specialist manufacturers of diesel fuel injection parts.
In 1950 Petters, who were manufacturers of both petrol and diesel engines, produced the Bryce Fuel Injection Systems for all of Brush's diesel engines at its premises in Staines, Middlesex.
Bryce Fuel Injection Ltd and Berger Equipment Ltd merged to become the more familiar brand of Bryce Berger Ltd in 1952, based again in Staines.
The 1950’s saw two changes of ownership for Bryce Berger. Firstly in 1955 it was bought out and became a subsidiary of Brush Electrical Engineering Co, and in1958 Hawker Siddeley, known for its aircraft manufacture, bought its expertise in fuel injection. It moved Bryce Berger to the Gloster Aircraft factory at Gloucester to provide room for expansion.
Hawker Siddeley subsequently sold the company to CAV which at the time was a subsidiary of Lucas. The ranges of fuel injection pumps that the companies made were complementary.
